The Marvel Cinematic Universe has grabbed the attention of every movie go-ers. From the dedicated Marvel Comics geek to the average clueless one. With their unrivalled slow-motion action and stunning effects it’s no wonder why they are one the highest grossing studios right now.
So let’s take a look at their latest installation that had cinemas packed on opening night.
Captain America: Civil War is, as the name suggests, about infighting among the Avengers (those that are of this world and not about smashing things). On one team you have you have Captain America (Chris Evans), Falcon (Anthony Mackie), Bucky (Sebastian Stan), Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), and Hawk-eye/Clint (Jeremy Renner) and on the other team you have Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), War Machine (Don Cheadle), Vision (Paul Bettany), Black Widow (Scarlet Johansson) and first appearances from Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) and Spider-Man (not Andrew Garfield but Tom Holland). The flick has enough action and drama to keep you in your seat.
The movie runs 2+ hours to give the story enough time to develop with bomb shell towards the end. It seems as though that this movie itself is not the main attraction but is in anticipation for the next feature. This may very well be true considering the announcement of Avengers: Infinity Wars Part I (2018).
Civil War is a definite must watch for anyone planning to watch the upcoming Avengers film.
Oh and watch out for an easter egg after the credits!
